My name is Nicole Doswell I am passionate about diversifying fashion and have a love for the creative.

I started my career as a modeling agent in 2008 (a position that I had for approximately 4.5 years). I later moved into Location Management then Fashion PR (a place I currently call home). In working in the fashion industry I have had chances to cast models for photoshoots, commercials, runways shows, and TV. In being on both sides of modeling agencies (the booker and booking side) I have noticed a lack of diversity and demand for diversity in the entertainment industry as a whole. I take pride in always considering and requesting models of color for my clients and hope to help in increasing the number of minority models in fashion.

I now would like to consider myself a advocate for models of color and diversity in general. I was one of the people behind the all immigrant casting on the runway at NYFW and love to make a statement through fashion and casting. We are powerful and amazing and can make a real statement in simply being visible. This is why I started ModelsOfColorMatter and have spoken out about the diversity issue on outlets like Glossy.
